The small flock of quality stock

Welcome to Stoneridge Meadow Farm

Stoneridge Meadow Farm is situated in the heart of the midlands, in the county of Warwickshire. It is the home of the Stoneridge Southdowns. A pedigree flock registered with the Southdown Sheep Society.

We also have a few rescue chickens that supply us with free range eggs. We also keep bees that produce beautiful honey.

Photos of our animals and other things in and around Stoneridge Meadow farm can be seen on our Photo pages.

Pancake greeting Lucy Locket

We started the Southdown flock in 1998 with the purchase of two ewe lambs from Mrs. Marion Harts 'Springbank' flock. We used Springbank W8 (Derek), Marlton U8 (Frank) and for  two years our own ram Stoneridge Eric X2. Eric had proven himself to sire quality stock, as shown when two ram lambs were sold at Melton Mowbray Traditional Native Breeds sale, in September 2003, for the top prices of our breed that day. Sadly Eric is no longer with us. Since then we have used Ernie, the son of Eric, Mulberry Chester, Sam and Bill. 2012 season we used Porthill 10/00058, who we called Robert. 2013 season we have used Stoneridge Alfie and Stoneridge Jack.In 2017 season we used a Caer Owen ram and our own Stoneridge Ziggy. In 2018 we used Stoneridge Ziggy and in 2019 we used Stoneridge Nigel.
